Liberated Impressions

It’s Thanksgiving Eve.

I’m sitting in our living room by the fire listening to my favorite pianist, Ludovico Einaudi.

After a long and eventful day, I claimed space for deep reflection. We are in the New Moon period, which is a perfect time to go within and evaluate; who we are, how we go about our lives, what we give, and what we receive.

Deep Breath

So what’s happening in our lives today?

We closed on the house this morning. Yes. It is ours now. I have lived here since I stepped foot on American soil, and my husband has for over 25 years!

So it’s a big thing, especially for my Adam, who thought this day would never come.

It did, though, and that day is today — Thanksgiving Eve of 2019.

Another Deep Breath…

As we were signing the papers at the lawyer’s office, my American Momma was in preparation for surgery.

Serious, scary stuff.

I wish she doesn’t have to go through this. The pain, the discomfort, the variables, the unknown…

The unknown of how things will play out. What will happen? How will it be?

We pray. We hope.

This word ”hope” bugs me. It secretly suggests that we’re exposed to the elements. And there is nothing we can do but hope.

Hope is a beggar, I heard.

I agree. Yet, it is used repeatedly by many of us, not giving a single thought to the energy it carries.

Inhale. Exhale. Repeat.

Instead of hoping…

♥  I like the knowing that there is divine power in our hearts and our hands that shape Life into what IS.

♥  I like the knowing that it is our duty to embody the divine in the ultimate present moment.

♥  I like the knowing that it is our responsibility to use our divinity to think, feel, and act in a way that results in the most fulfilling expressions of Life.

An invisible force has picked me up and carried me through Life. It is now shaking me up and shaping me into a new expression of itself

I surrender.

I breathe.

I celebrate Life.

Life as it expresses itself through every being in wondrous and unexpected ways.

I’m overwhelmed by joy.
I’m overwhelmed by love.
I’m overwhelmed by Life.
I’m overwhelmed by gratitude.

I breathe deeply, and I let joy, love, Life, and gratitude overwhelm me even more.

Thank YOU for being such a beautiful Life.

Happy Thanksgiving.

It is your turn now!

What’s happening in YOUR life today?

Love & Heartfelt Thanks,

P.S. I continued listening to my beloved musician through the entire reflection. The most beautiful melody I’ve ever heard being expressed in Life, one that never ceases to move me beyond my known reality, is called Nuvole Bianche (White Clouds) by Ludovico Einaudi. Enjoy!

It is Thanksgiving morning. I am sitting in bed looking out at farmlands and hills. My husband is beside me.
We have just finished a meditation
I am feeling one with consciousness.
Though our children and grandchildren won’t be with us today
A sense of wholeness surrounds us.
My being is filled with contentment and light

Thanks Viktoria. Hope is my favorite four letter word. Some people confuse the word hope with ‘wish’ or ‘want’. Hoping “for” something is not it’s intended or original meaning. Rather hope is a state of mind, a virtue, that gives us reason to carry on, to live, to trust and have faith that better days are coming or that you will learn what you need to survive adversity. Hope I very much like faith, believing even when you cannot see things in physical reality. Hope for the future is necessary to generate the good energy you need going forward.

“Hope” is commonly used to mean a wish : its strength is the strength of the person’s desire. But in the Bible hope is the confident expectation of what God has promised and its strength is in His faithfulness.”

I have always lived, loved and hoped from coast to coast.
Half of my family lives on the east coast and half on the west coast.
I always love and enjoy the ones I am with, but I always miss the others.
